Our Discord bot helps with adding messages, pictures, and videos to the relevant newsletter. If you have the ''folk-system-havers'' role in Discord, simply add a 📰 reaction to the message whose content you want to save. The bot then uploads the attachments and appends the message and attachments to the end of the newsletter for the month in which the message was sent.

A few rules to keep things from getting too messy

  - Don't add the 📰 reaction to a message that is already in the newsletter. The append is not idempotent so it'll just keep appending the same content to the end of the newsletter.
  - Don't add the 📰 reaction to a message for an already published newsletter.

Both changes are simple enough to undo and it's okay to make mistakes.
